Last few weeks we have focused on several topics ranging from unemployment to starting your own business. We enumerated different types of business and equally highlighted a particular type of business.

Today we are going to look at how to become successful in whatever business you are doing. While there are many does and don’ts when it comes to business the real fact lies in you as an individual.

The personality factor: what type of person are you? Are you the type of person that believes in taking risks or are you the type of person that believes in waiting for an opportunity or creating an opportunity when there is none?

Generally speaking, many successful people have not had it smooth when it comes to growing their business or being successful. This is why I think in Nigeria there are more business pastors than successful businessmen. In Nigeria there are two types of successful business, either become a pastor and open a church and use the tithe to become successful or become a politician and steal money.

Create Hunger for Success

Dedication and passion will lead you to create great ideas, improve your thoughts, and engage in big goals. You can’t sleep well when you are hungry, the same goes if you are hungry for success and feels insatiable, your adrenaline will pump up to drive your ideas. This illustration which is often used to illustrate what the ordinary thinks and what a successful business person thinks. In all things don’t forget to see yourself as a different and unique personality, and learn the following rule. Learn to listen more, learn to take advantage of opportunities when you see one and work hard when it matters. Do not procrastinate, rather start now, be prepared, plan and be informed, and lastly believe in yourself. This is just a little presentation.
