Why We Exist

Many communities within Ikeduru continue to struggle with unemployment, limited access to quality education, and inadequate social support systems. Without strategic intervention, these challenges hinder growth and discourage young people from reaching their full potential.

Our mission is to mobilize and empower the sons and daughters of Ikeduru to work together in advancing community development through education, economic empowerment, social support systems, and strategic partnerships.

Have you always asked the question what legacy will you leave behind, is it about building big houses and owning the whole streets in London and New York or will it be helping to give someone a smile and a helping hand? Humanity is about posterity, the earthquake that happens now and then tells us that wealth can be destroyed but it takes a human life and existence to rebuild it again.
Today Ikeduru Sons & Daughters Forum is making that clarion call to all sons, daughters, friends, supporters; philanthropists to help us rebuild the shattered dreams and hopes of our people in Ikeduru. Ikeduru is one of the most neglected local government areas in Imo State. It is not because it lacks Sons and daughters rather past governments and politicians and their cronies have left the towns in ruins and the people hopeless.

We want to identify with our people within each community, work, interact and share with them in different community projects. We also wish to engage them through open discussions and cultural exchanges. Our services include supporting and providing local employment services, providing unemployment benefits to our youths who are out of work, offering free community services, supporting our fewer privileged widows, sponsoring our brilliant sons and daughters from fewer privileged homes in education, offering training in information technology and encouraging the establishment a place of higher learning in Ikeduru.

We are unique in what we do, we know our communities well and are better positioned to serve them well. In time to come, we are looking for sponsors, volunteers, philanthropists, friends, and well-wishers to help us meet our monumental challenges. Be part of this ongoing history and help us to build our communities together. We are non-profit and non-partisan, we are purely dedicated to pursuing agendas that will help change the lives of our people and foster development in our communities. Not even to talk of industries, but today the sons and daughters of Ikeduru are awakening and we are not stopping until we can make a difference in the lives of our people and impact our communities. This organization is dedicated to the people of Ikeduru to help them build the bridge that can help change our towns and communities.

By businesses promoting their goods and services through us, that, in turn, will support employment and bring goods and services to our people.
